I've been looking for a nice grip for my RX100M7, and I saw this, and thought I'd give it a try. It works!There's a slight gap between the camera and the grip, but nothing moves. Plus I still have access to the battery and SD card compartment. You do have to be careful though, as the screw, if it isn't tight enough, will get in the way of the battery compartment cover.Also, the opening sometimes rubs a tiny amount on the cover. But nothing to worry about.I've tried other grips, and this, at least for me, is the best one I've found. I wanted black, not wood grain effect. I saw a different one that grips around the lens, but I wasn't happy about anything being tightened around the lens, plus, the actual grip was too flat, and in use, my fingers would rub on the side of the lens. That doesn't happen with this grip. For me it is almost perfect.Almost because the base could have been arca swiss compatible with a minor change to the aluminium moulding. Then it would be perfect. Shame...I do like all the thread holes in multiple places so that I can add tripod mounts pretty much anywhere.
