I really like these lights!I've had no problem with them at all. They are extremely bright -- bright enough for me to use until midnight one night on my property while I split wood. They gave more than enough light to illuminate my work area and also all of the surrounding woods which made me extra comfortable considering we have black bears traipsing around our property. One thing you HAVE to do when using these is to tighten all of the connections first. Tripod, legs, lights etc.. Otherwise it will be flimsy. I tighten each and have had no problems whatsoever with it not being sturdy. The power cord is a good length at 5 feet long. If you need longer, simply use an extension cord. The padded handles on the lights are nice and I like the fact the dual lights can be used separately without the stand. The lights swivel up/down and left/right nicely enough to aim in any direction and they can be tightened to secure their position without slippage. The telescoping pole is more than enough height for any job.The tripod feet spread wide and are more than enough to prevent tippage.Overall, these are 5 stars in my book, but I only gave them 4 stars because when they were shipped to me, they only included 1 halogen bulb instead of the two it should have come with! A simple and quick trip to the local hardware store and a $1.79 bulb solved that issue. Amazon issued me a refund to pay for the bulb too so it didn't cost me anything other than my time and inconvenience. They aren't made from top-grade, top of the line, A+ materials, but they are MORE than adequate for lights like this and if you take care of them, they'll last a long time. On top that, you won't find a set of work lights for such a cheap price. I'm very happy with these and definitely recommend them. Just make sure they send you two bulbs!
