As someone who relies on Arca Swiss and Manfrotto QR plates, I was eager (if skeptical) to see what these little doodads could do. The answer is: everything. I'm using them to connect a hefty, caged, Nikon Z9 to a top handle, to connect that top handle to an Atomos 7" Shinobi, and to have attachment points for an HDMI transmitter and a mic mount. These little guys are **beautifully** made and engineered: they slide together effortlessly, lock into place perfectly, and hold as much of a load as you can imagine putting them to. The connection plate has a low profile that doesn't snag on my gear bag (or my hand). Also terrific has been the dual quick release articulating arm, which is sturdy and easy to control. The F22 system is really great!i wish it was smoother to insert and removeToo flimsy for monitors but great design other than tightness adjustabilityI ordered 1 and it is missing the wrench, I ordered a second one I hope they come with all parts. Even though this issue the product is well made.TLDR: If you want to make your setup more interchangeable and quick disconnecting this is an amazing piece of hardware to have. It really lets you keep a base in one place and just connect or disconnect with push in locks. Biggest thing is once you have one and more gear you will want even more of them.Pros:- Amazing Build Quality being Metal thats still soft- Great Fit on the Locking Mechanism- The 1/4 - 20" connection is well made and smooth to lock- The plate connection is solid and smooth while still being very small- The rest of the system looks very useful and all works well togetherCons:- You will want more of these quickly since having one base and one plate can feel limiting- Wish it included at least two plates with its one base for its priceThis is a great and well made base system that allows for quick equipment changes but you need to put the plates on multiple pieces of equipment so you can really make the most out of this and really meant to be a full system for connecting your gear. This ended up being a lot smaller than I thought. This quick release system is about the size of the end of your thumb. At first I really couldn't see much use for it. Then I looked at some of my smaller gear like my Rode Video Micro microphone and this ended up being ideal for that. I can now quickly attach and detach it from my rig. Might also be good for 5-7" inch monitors as long as they are lightweight like the ones from Feelworld or Andycine. Unlike the pictures on Amazon for this I absolutely would NOT mount your camera on this thing. It's just too small and I would be super worried about the stability.
