It’s a cool teliscope, I’d say it’s good for begginers. I got the teliscope and tried looking at the moon, it almost fills up the full field of veiw, and really impressed me. Looking at the planets however is disappointing, jupiter is just a small circle and it’s moons are just dots. Saturn is a small kinda flat looking large dot. if and when you can get the focus right, you can barely see the rings and the gap between the rings and the planet. As for the other planets, they’re just dots. Still, it’s a cool, portable teliscope for looking at the moon and planetsDirections are horrible you pretty much have to figure it out yourselfThis came just as pictured but when trying to see the moon of any stars/planets it’s awful. I can’t ever seem to see it clearly. It was very hard to assemble with little to no instructions on it. I even had help from others and we couldn’t figure it out. Maybe it’s just us and we don’t know how to use it right but not a great buy for the price in my opinion. This is a good telescope for children learning about the moon. That's about all you will be able so see clearly from it. Nice starter.Haven’t found anything yet. The lenses work similar to my middle school biology microscopes, so it’s not difficult for a young teenager to use and also easy for adults with young children. I couldn’t focus YET, because I needed a flat surface but the (unfocused) image was super bright and I can’t wait to see how things look once the lens gets in focusNot too sturdy and very hard to focusIt was a gift. I here it’s awesome!Well I guess you get what you pay for so I can’t be too upset. It’s made of cheap materials, poor fit & finish, and it’s not terribly user friendly. I have a 10 year old daughter who is obsessed with space and thought this was a good initial foray. I’m less than impressed and daughter has lost interest due to poor quality and difficulty using. I wouldn’t bother taking a chance on this if I could go back. This is perfect presents for the kids. It creates interest of astrology in kids. It is really good toy for those kids who are interested to explore something new which is not around. The telescope kit include different lenses to explore horizons. The body is not professional but as said this is perfect for kids and beginners, it is well made. The size and weight of telescope are perfect. It is easy to understand how to operate and you can easily find the object with help of optical lens finder. For more understanding there is a manual to get some ideas about the operation.I know you get what you pay for but this isn't worth the 40 (CAD) bucks. The issue is that the plastic parts that connect all the pieces in place are of such low quality that they do not stay in place and fall out/off. The telescope itself works as you expect a $40 telescope should, but again the parts fall out because the plastic tightening parts don't work so its a pain. This should be priced under $20 (CAD) to be considered "worth it"For the price it’s a great toy telescope for kids and teens who are into astronomy. It would also make a perfect gift. Nicely made, doesn’t look cheap. In terms of what you’ll see through it - no too much but enough to impress someone who’d never used a professional telescope. I do recommend it but only as a toy, which is perfectly enough for its price, price quality ratio is excellent as for me.Great beginner telescope. My parents had a small telescope when i was a kid, and this one is much better. We were able to aim it at the moon and see the surface with fairly good clarity. My kids were really interested in trying to find other things to see through the scope. Makes a great gift for any space enthusiast!Ordered this for my little nephew. He loves the stars and moon so we thought it would be a good gift. He likes it, but its extremely hard to focus. You often can't see any details on the moon. It's more of an ornament now in his room.
