I have been using this on the single removable leg of my Zoomei tripod instead of a special GoPro pole because why not!? The thread of the baseplate matches the thread of my tripod foot so - if the shoe fits!!About the plate, it’s light, the paint is quality, and I trust it so much more than that cheap plastic tripod mounts that I own! I’d hate to use the cheap plastic one on my expensive GoPro 9 Black and have it fail, costing me an expensive GoPro!! If you’re looking for a solid tripod mounting plate, get it. Works great in the Swiss arca holder too, but I mostly use the single leg extended to 60” for high or low angles. Buy it!
