This tripod is wonderful. It's so easy, it's a joy. You unbox it, pull the 3 legs out, they click into place, put the grill on top and are done. It took me longer to type that than to actually do it. It's sturdy. It's well constructed. It's a good height from the ground or base of a campfire. It is a little on the hefty side for weight. It is cast iron tho, so that's the nature of that type of material. You expect cast iron to be a few lbs.The only thing I didn't like was I wish it came with a carrying bag. That, in my opinion would have made this tripod absolutely perfect. I rate this at 5 stars for quality, durability, ease of use and value. I'm impressed with this product and recommend it.
