I recently purchased this light for night fishing on shore and on boat. It wasn't as bright as in the advertised videos, but it is sure bright enough to light up the darkness. I'll give the battery a month before I can say anything since I only took it out for night fishing once. This would be great for camping or for use as a worklight. It's bright and can be used like a search light. Probably would not use it for much else as it is quite bulky and big with the handle attached. I don't quite get the point of having the 2 different types of lights next to each other for different purposes, but it is what it is. It has a usb port for charging your other USB devices. It also uses USB-C for the input charging to charge the flashlight. Overall it is bright and a great value purchase. As the title suggests and this is an OPINION based upon my comparison of other products. My security lights are 3,000 lumens and are brighter than this.now if someone comes back with "they run off electricity" then I will retort with:What does that have to do with light brightness. The LED's with the battery is advertised to produce 100,000 lumens. My security light is made to produce 3,000 AND? Yet they are still brighter than this. How is it I can light up my back yard with 3,000 but this thing barely does.I have also used 90,000 lumen search lights and this is not even close. And yes, the battery is at 100%So there is a miscommunication somewhere. At present I do not know if I am going to return this or keep it for emergencies because it does make an OK flashlight with police lights on the side for some reason. These are my experiences, maybe you feel different but this my review. You make up your own mind.buy one, test one but do not expect anything impressive that will justify that $49 price tag.We all know where the product originates, we can make a rough estimate on how much manufacturing costs and we know the name of the game these days.It feels like cheap plastic with no weight to it.A rechargeable Lithium battery inside with a few of LED's hear and there. And, you are expected to supply your own charger so I guess I am plugging my flashlight into my computer now? Was that a cost saving decision like the LED's, the battery, the housing? So which part of those meager pieces of the puzzle did the $49 get invested in.At the moment I sound negative but I am finding that more and more when I think I paying extra for quality I end up paying for something that is 20% product 10% shipping and 70% profit.Which ultimately means I will shop somewhere else, where I can hold the product and test it before purchasing.I recommend this product.. It's worth itgreatI was getting ready for my fellowship next upcoming camping. I have some head lights but kids want something they can carry in addition. Found this one. Notice some ants at home a few days ago and used this light to find the ant trail all the way from the side of the stair, kid’s carpet, around the table and under the sofa, where kids dropped lots of cookies. ??Anyway, I was able to clean them out. Overall, the light is very bright and it can change color by clicks the bottom continuously.Ordered this for my boat… very light weight with heavy bright beam so I can see on the lake at night! Comes with the tripod which works for my use !! Very light like I said and good so far…
